Robert Witt Obituary
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He leaves behind his loving wife, Beverly; two sons, Ernest and Leonard; his brother, John and his family, of Denver, Colo.; sisters-in-law and their families, Gloria Liekam of Kirtland, Donna Garcia of Denver, and Joyce and John Blea of Newland, N.C. He is also survived by Carol Carner of Denver; and by many cousins and their families.
Robert graduated from high school in North Platte, Neb. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict.
Robert's father taught him about repairing and maintaining heavy equipment. He worked all over, coming with Colorado Constructors to NECA of Shiprock, then to Nielson's Construction and later, Laguna Construction. He loved his job and taught many people the business as he knew it. He was always willing to lend a helping hand. He will be sadly missed by all the lives he touched.
He loved his family and friends, and cooked the greatest steak dinners! He also loved fishing, country music and pop, traveling, watching the Denver Broncos and giving the lawn "a short haircut." We will all miss him dearly. His memory will live in our hearts forever!
Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 21, at First Baptist Church of Kirtland, 17 County Road 6500 in Kirtland.
Arrangements are with Alternative Choice Cremation and Funeral Services, 804 N. Dustin Ave. in Farmington, (505) 326-3671.

RB was one of my favorite customers and I always enjoyed his Jest when I would call on him. I needed to have Donuts in hand to get his smile and that was a joy for me. I had retired and lost track of him over the past few years until I heard of his passing today. He will be missed.

He will be missed, He was a very good friend to my father, the late Leonard Redhorse Sr.
The employees at NECA ,who knew him will remember his friendship to all he knew at NECA. There are many stories these employees remember him by and he will always have an impact on them from here on.
God Bless his family and all he loved.
As for me I know my father will always have a friend in him where ever they may be.
