Ronald Boehm Obituary

Ronald Kenneth Boehm passed away on Sunday, Oct. 27, 2013, at his home in Anthem, Ariz. He was born March 31, 1981, to Michael S. Boehm and Elaine Edgar of Hobbs.
In May 1999, he graduated from Bloomfield High School. He attended Adams State College in Alamosa, Colo., graduating with a bachelor's degree in psychology, sociology and a minor in criminology. While attending Adams State College, he participated nationally in the track and field events of shot-put and discus.
While working at Dominos Pizza in Alamosa, Colo., he met his wife, Haley R. Jackson. They were married, June 11, 2005, and three children blessed this marriage: Kaidence Annabelle, 7; Brooklyn Hope, 5; and Samuel Lucas, 3.
In 2004, the family moved to Phoenix, Ariz., where he was employed by Anderson Security. In 2005, he began working as a corrections officer for the State of Arizona's Juvenile Corrections system. By 2008, he was promoted to the position of Youth Program Supervisor and was given managerial responsibilities. In 2011, he earned his MBA from the University of Phoenix in Glendale, Ariz.
He was an extremely hard worker and took great pride in counseling at-risk juveniles and serving alongside his fellow employees. Many of his coworkers would become his best friends. He loved to play softball and football, snowboard, golf and spend time at the lake fishing. He was often found outside spending time with friends. But more than any of these, he loved spending time with his wife and family. They were to become his greatest achievement.
Ronald was preceded in death by his father, Michael S. Boehm; his maternal grandfather, Kenneth D. Edgar; and his paternal grandmother, Sandra K. George.
He is survived by his wife, Haley R. Boehm; his three children of Anthem, Ariz.; his mother, Elaine (Edgar) Flippen of Phoenix Ariz.; brothers, Bradley R. Boehm of Farmington, Michael J. Boehm and Jeffrey G. Boehm of Phoenix, Ariz.; sister, Samantha K. Boehm of Show Low, Ariz.; paternal grandparents, Jeffrey R. and Mary M. Boehm of Phoenix, Ariz.; maternal grandmother, Crystal Edgar; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A viewing will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 8, at the Rogers Family Mortuary, 205 State Ave. in Alamosa, Colo. 81101, 719-589-4271.
A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 9, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 300 Richardson Ave. in Alamosa, Colo.
Interment will follow in the Uracca Cemetery in Blanca, Colo.
In lieu of flowers, a donation towards funeral expenses would be appreciated.

Ronald Boehm, is the best Manager I have had since I started working for ADJC in NOV 2011, and probably showed the best leadership skills, I have ever seen in a leader, supervisor or Manager. He is very supportive understanding and willing to help anybody he worked with, not only the people underneath him. I Valued him as a person and looked up to him as an exceptionally great leader. He has always supported me, backed me up and lead me in the right Direction. My heart goes out to his wife and kids and all the close friends that I know he had because he was such a great person. I just want his family to get this with honor and pride and great respect from myself and the U.S. Army Reserve for his ultimate support and respect he gave. "Also I did not find any of this out till today 14DEC2013, in Kabul, Afghanistan (Operation Enduring Freedom), when I recieved an Email from ESGR wich is and employer award agency, giving me the option to nominate and recognize my supportive supervisor for the Patriot award and the first person that popped in my head was Ron Boehm. At that point I was completing the nomination form and I put his name, work address and phone number, the only thing I couldnt remember was his Email. I then googled his name hoping it would take me to the state website with his email address. But the first thing I saw was the word Obituary and my heart dropped as I read further and saw his name in the same sentence. I thought to myself no way, and then it all hit me as I read that Ronald Boehm Passed away on October 27th, 2013. I will always respect and forever remember the Man, Leader, and overall amazing person that I got to know and had the oppertunity to work for and was happy to do so for Ronald Boehm. God Bless his wife, kids and family. He will never be forgotten....

Very Respectfully,

You will be missed Ronnie.

Mr Ron Boehm was truly inspirational to me. There were many days on the job that he would remind me what it took to move up at work...Dedication and hard work. Keep your head up. We used to laugh about our oldest daughters being the same age and going to the same school. What would we do if they became "best friends"?? He was a hard worker through and through. He was a pleasure to be around at work. He will be missed. RIP Mr Boehm!

What a blessing to have had the opportunity to work for Mr. Boehm. He consistently looked out for the best interest of his staff while maintaining dedication, commitment and passion for changing the lives of the youth he worked with. There have been few managers that have been able to balance both and he excelled while still keeping his family at home his number one priority. I will miss his smile and encouraging words, and pray that his family knows how much he made a difference in our lives and how much we will miss him.

Thoughts and prayers to the Boehm family. He was a great man who didn't receive enough credit but always gave more than enough credit to his fellow officers. They don't make to many like Ronald. To his friends and family a great man is gone but not forgotten. But we shall meet again.

I had the utmost respect for Ronald Boehm because he was willing to give me the chance to prove myself as an officer on the unit that he was in charge of. Not many officers will volunteer to work on Unit Yemaya or Isis but I was willing to take that risk after I was able to speak with Boehm after training. Boehm is/was the best manager that I have ever worked for in any job that I have held. He was a hardworking and honest man. I am grateful for the chance he gave me and I am truly honored to have worked with him and learned from him. I am glad I was able to express my gratitude to him before I left the agency. I am truly saddened by the loss because I man of his stature and presence can never be replace. You will be missed Boehm. R.I.P.

Ron was a good friend and co worker. We worked together in security at Black Canyon School and I had the privilege to watch him rise through the agency as a Case worker, a unit Manager for Isis and Yemaya, as well as unit Freedom. Nancy and I would like to extend our deepest condolences to the Boehm family. We are all grieving over Ron's passing but can take comfort in knowing that although Ron's not physically here with us. He lives on in the hearts of those who know and loved him.

Our thoughts and prayers for peace and comfort go out to the Boehm Family at this time. May the God of all Creation place His hedge of protection around your hearts.

John 14:1-4
Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, trust also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare and place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going.
