Donnie Moore Obituary
GRANDY - Donnie Wall Moore, 71, of Grandy, NC passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, February 25, 2017 in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, where she was surrounded by her family.
Donnie was born in Elizabeth City, NC on January 17, 1946 and was the daughter of the late Herbert C. Wall and wife, Nina Spruill Wall. She was the widow of Kenneth Moore of Colington, NC.
Donnie is survived by her daughter, Candice Moore Mallory (Andy) of Manteo, NC; son, K.C. Moore, Jr. (Tess) of Colington; brothers, Larry Wall (Celia) of Hamilton, VA and Chris Wall of Orlando, FL; sisters, Linda Wall and Mary Wall of Elizabeth City, NC; and grandchildren, Ann Marie Ambrose, Jesse McCoy, Josalyn Moore and Elijah Moore, and Drew Mallory and Barrett Mallory.
She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Rhonda and Paul of Florida; special aunt, Verna Austin Wall; uncle, Walter Wall (Becky); close friends, Cathy and Randy McPhee and many nieces, nephews and loving friends.
A memorial service will be held at Gallop Funeral Services, 6917 S. Croatan Hwy, Nags Head, NC, Friday March 3, 2017 at 3 pm. Reverend Robert Pitsch will officiate. The family will receive friends after the service. Memorial contributions in Mrs. Moore's name may be made to the SPCA NENC, 102 Enterprise Dr, Elizabeth City, NC 27909 and / or Dare County SPCA, 1031 Driftwood Dr, Manteo, NC 27954

Donnie was a very kind and thoughtful individual. As a child I remember her because of this. I wish I had gotten to know her better in my mature years but unfortunately life sometimes prevents us from carrying out our best thoughts and wishes. I know for a fact her gentle soul is at rest. I will make the trip to pay my respects to her and her family. My sincere regrets at the passing of such a dear and wonderful person she will be missed.
