Edna Sylvester Obituary
ELIZABETH CITY - Edna Bell Sylvester of Elizabeth City, NC entered into eternal rest on Sunday, February 5, 2017.
Celebration of life will take place on Friday, February 10, 2017 at Saint James AME Zion Church at 11:00 am. She will lie in state from 10:00 am until time of service.
Mrs. Sylvester leaves to cherish her memories: two daughters, Patricia Brown (Joseph) of Mitchellville, MA, and Sylvia Shabazz (Abdullah) of Suitland, MA; three sons, Paul Sylvester (Janice) of Chesterfield, VA, Stephen Sylvester (Tanya) of Elizabeth City, NC, and one son proceeded in death Willie Earl Scott; thirteen grandchildren, a host of great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
