Joseph Winslow Obituary

Joseph Cleveland Winslow, 55, of 324 Dobbs St., Hertford, N.C., died at his residence Friday, April 14, 2006. A funeral service will be held at Perquimans County High School, Hertford, Thursday, April 20, 2006, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Alvin J. Boone and the Rev. D.L. Smith officiating. Burial will be in Cedarwood Cemetery, Hertford, N.C. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 19, 2006, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Stallings Memorial Chapel, Hertford. Stallings Memorial Chapel, Hertford, is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Winslow was the son of the late George Winslow and Marie Winslow. He is survived by one daughter, Jean New and husband, Raymond, of Brooklyn, N.Y.; one sister, Beatrice Spruill; two brothers, Frankie Winslow and wife, Javahnie, of Winfall, and Calvin Winslow of Hempstead, N.Y.; and five grandchildren. Cards/donations of condolences should be sent to 101 Ballahack Road, Hertford, NC 27944. Flowers should be sent to Stallings Funeral Home.
