Michael Pizer Obituary
SHAWBORO - Michael "Mike" Joseph Pizer, 54 of 256 Garrington Island Road, Shawboro, NC died Thursday, July 13, 2017 at his residence. He was born April 2, 1963 in Norfolk, VA to Connie Hope Payne Smith of Elizabeth City, NC and the late Thomas Joseph Pizer. He was a government contractor and a Christian. He enjoyed fishing summer or winter. Mike never knew a stranger and would give anyone the shirt off his back.
In addition to his mother he is survived by his fiance;, Wanda Stroud of Shawboro, NC; two sons, Michael Ray Pizer and Joseph Allen Pizer; and two brothers, Stephen Ray Pizer and James Nathan Pizer.
A memorial service will be Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Twiford Memorial Chapel with the Rev. F. Joe Griffith officiating. Twiford Funeral Home, Memorial Chapel, 405 East Church Street, Elizabeth City, NC is serving the Pizer family. You may express condolences to the family by visiting www.TwifordFH.com.
