PLAINFIELD -- Betty Louise Batten, 99, of Plainfield, Indiana died after a lengthy illness on October 7, 2025 at Plainfield Health Care Center, Plainfield. She was born on February 23, 1926. She spent the majority of her life in Greenville, Ohio, graduating from Greenville High School in 1944.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Delmer Gene Batten and granddaughter Shannon Batten. She leaves behind three sons, Donald (Cheryl) of Powell, Ohio, Edward (Judy) of Union City, Indiana, and Randy Batten of Plainfield, Indiana; three grandchildren, William (Lori) Batten of Springfield, Ohio, Jennifer Long of Powell, Ohio, and Ben (Kelsey) Batten of Plainfield, Indiana; and six great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
On Monday, October 13, 2025, there will be a one-hour visitation at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home at 11:00 A.M. followed immediately by a graveside service at Abbottsville Cemetery.
