ARCANUM — Elsie M. Reier, 78, of Arcanum, passed away the evening of Nov. 19, 2014, at her residence.
She was born Nov. 14, 1936, in Dayton, daughter of the late Aloysius H. and Elenora (Keith) Hammaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.
A homemaker, Elsie was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Greenville.
She is survived by her children, Gary Reier, Dean (Lisa) Reier, Jan Reier, Andy (Linda) Reier, Lisa (Marc) Fisk, Diane (Scott) Wilson, Scott (Tracy) Reier, Darla (Greg) Ahlers, and Larae (Tommy, III) McGarrity; 29 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren; a brother, Richard Hammaker; and sisters, Gerri (Les) Crowell and Darlene Winterrowd.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Kingdom Hall, 6688 Ludy Road, Greenville. The family will receive friends at the Kingdom Hall Saturday one hour prior to services. Arrangements have been entrusted with the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville.
