JAMES LESTER Obituary
ANSONIA – James "Jim" Lester, 68, passed away Monday, Feb. 1, 2016, at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton. He was born Aug. 28, 1947, in Tazewell, Virginia, son of the late Thomas and Ruth Dowdy Murray.
Jim was a self-employed handy man, and a US Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Jerilyn Hummel Lester; children, Maryianne (Mike) Hawkey of Union City, Indiana, Dawn Patterson of Winchester, Indiana, Thomas (Brenda) Lester of Union City, Ohio, Linda (Billy) Williams of Covington, Ohio, and Christopher Lester, of Greenville, Ohio; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a sister, Ruby (Al) Comer of Tazewell, Virginia.
He was preceded by his parents; a brother, Dave Murray; and a sister, Sue Murray.
Memorial services are 2 p.m. Friday at the Reichard Funeral Home Inc., 400 W. Deerfield Road, Union City, Indiana. Online condolences may be expressed at www.reichardfh.com
