VERSAILLES — Jennifer L. Platfoot, age 44, of Versailles, Ohio, passed away at 8:50 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 21, 2016, at her residence. Jennifer was born June 13, 1971, in Greenville, Ohio, to Shiela A. (Kaup) Coffield of Versailles and Willard R. and stepmother, Patricia L. Platfoot of Minster.
Jennifer was a stay-at-home mom. She was a member of St. Denis Catholic Church in Versailles.
In addition to her parents, Jennifer is survived by her children, Chelsie Platfoot of Versailles, Kaylin Phlipot of North Star and Ethan Kelch of Versailles; grandchildren, Evan Moody and Charlize Moody; brothers and sisters, Christopher W. and Tina Platfoot of Sidney, Richard W. Platfoot of Adell, Wisconsin, Julie D. and Brad Gibbons of Versailles, Christopher R. and Carrie Reeves of Delta, Travis R. and Hazel Reeves of Port Jefferson and Amanda and James Hoskins of Minster; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday at St. Denis Catholic Church in Versailles with Rev. Fr. Ron Haft celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Valbert Cemetery in Versailles. The family will receive friends on Monday from 4-8 p.m. and Tuesday morning from 9-10 at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home in Versailles. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
