GREENVILLE -- Larry L. Riffle, age 77, passed away on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at Brookdale Senior Living in Greenville, Ohio.
Larry was born on October 22, 1947, in Greenville to the late Morris and Hazel (Roth) Riffle. He was also preceded in death by his cousin, Dave Brumley.
Larry is survived by his wife, Stephanie (Pheanis) Riffle whom he married on October 6, 1973; his son, Matthew Riffle; his daughter, Meagan Riffle; his brother, Ricky Riffle; his cousin, Tim Brumley; his nephew Tray Riffle and his niece, Sierra Riffle.
Larry was a 1965 graduate of Greenville High School. After graduation, Larry entered the United States Army. He was promoted to Army Specialist Five while assigned to the 3rd Armored Division stationed near Friedburg, Germany. He was honorably discharged and removed from Standby Reserve in 1972. Larry worked for 42 years, as an Outside Plant Telephone Engineer for United Telephone Co./Sprint/Luman. In his free time, Larry's hobbies included coin collecting, gunsmithing, wood working and working on muscle cars.
Per Larry's wishes, there will be no services.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville.
Memorial contributions may be given in Larry's memory to Post 140 of the VFW, 325 North Ohio Street, Greenville, Ohio 45331.
