GREENVILLE -- Mary Ann Bowers, age 81, of Greenville, passed away on Saturday, September 13, 2025 at her home.
She was born on December 8, 1943 in Miamisburg, OH to the late George and Marjorie (Whitaker) Jay.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Bill Jay; sister, Nancy Weaver; and grandchildren, Christopher and Olivia.
Those left to cherish Mary's memory include her loving husband, Donald Bowers of Greenville; children, Brian Bowers of Greenville, Brenda Bowers of Arcanum, and Tim Bowers; grandchildren, Bruce (Mary), Sherenda, Dustin (Savanna), Terry, Amanda (Rob), Katrina (Jon), Christina (Joey), Isaiah (MacKenzie), and Matthias; and great grandchildren, Troy, Alexis, Patrick, Rylie, Jaxson, Cayde, Artemis, Leighlyn, Liam, Kinsely, Ella, Elijah, Michael, MaKendra, and Max.
Mary graduated from Tri-Village High School in New Madison. She worked many years at the New Madison Public Library. Mary loved to make personal cards for people to bring a blessing to others. She also enjoyed flowers.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Everheart Hospice in Greenville.
A visitation will be held from 12:00-1:00 PM on Thursday, September 18, 2025 at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday at the funeral home with Pastor Wes Lynch officiating, Burial will follow at Greenmound Cemetery, New Madison.
