SOUTH SALEM, Ohio — Richard J. Hammaker, age 85, of South Salem, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2015.
Richard was a carpenter with Local 104.
He is preceded in death by his son, Joseph.
He is survived by three daughters and a son-in-law, Teresa (Ralph) Peyton of Jamestown, Loretta Scandura of Centerburg, Angie Kotey of Greenville; seven sons and daughters-in-law, Robert of Eaton, Tony of Maryland, Denis (Heidi) of Lewisburg, Chris of Springboro, Steve of North Star, Rick (Bea) of Hollansburg,, Matt of South Salem; two sisters, Gerri (Les) Crowell of Greenville, Darlene Winterrowd of Florida; 42 grandchildren and 52 great-grandchildren.
Requiem Mass will be held 10 a.m. Monday at Holy Family Church. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Westbrock Funeral Home, 1712 Wayne Ave. Burial, Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude's Childrens fund, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
