Terry Ray Obituary
ARCANUM — Terry Ray, age 77, of Arcanum, Ohio, passed away Monday, September 24, 2018, at Reid Hospital following a brief illness.
Over 30 years ago, Terry bought a small farm in Darke County where he would enjoy raising cows and horses. He also loved fishing and always looked forward to spending time in Tennessee with his family and friends. Terry retired from Chrysler after working there for over 30 years.
Terry is preceded in death by his mother, Reba Ray. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, married June 4, 1960, Barbara Ray; daughter, Lisa (Howard) Thacker; grandchildren, Taylor Thacker, Troy Thacker; sisters, Brenda White, Debbie (James) Williams; adopted aunt and uncle Gertie and Clarence Madewell; and numerous other relatives and friends. A special thank you to Chris, Derek, Jarrod, Jason, Troy, Leo, and Larry for all the help and support over the past few months.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will take place Thursday, September 27, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Kreitzer Funeral Home, 204 N. Main St., Arcanum, OH 45304. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cancer Association of Darke County. Email condolences may be sent by going online to www.kreitzerfuneralhome.com

So sorry for your loss Barb and family. Certainly enjoyed getting to know Terry and the many many hours of bs we shared. Was hoping to see you guys in Tennessee for a welcome home. I remember lots of conversation of Tennessee and Terry Ray. God Bless.
