Brian Jay Huddleston

Brian Jay Huddleston, 60, of San Pedro, Ca, passed away on August 20, 2014 surrounded by his family. Brian was born on November 29, 1953 in Hollywood, Ca. His parents are Claudia Creasey Huddleston and Jerry Huddleston.

Brian graduated from San Pedro High School in 1972, served in the U.S. Navy as a SeeBee. He retired from the Los Angeles County Sanitation District in Carson, after 33 years of service on May 31, 2014, as a Senior Stationary Mechanic.

Brian is survived by his wife, Denise Cuciti Huddleston; daughter, Kristen Cuciti with grandsons, Tyler and Cole Winters of Huntley, Ill; son, Eric Lock of Juneau, Ak; son, Brian James Huddleston of San Pedro; step-dad, Herman Rose of Harbor City; brother, Gary (Lynda) Huddleston of Rancho Palos Verdes; niece, Tina (Scott) Lazar with daughter, Samantha in Harbor City, and many extended family and friends.

A Celebration Of Life will be held for Brian on August 29, 2014, in his backyard oasis at 756 W. 7th St. in San Pedro, from 2-6 pm. As this is to celebrate Brian's life, please wear your favorite band shirt/Hawaiian shirt, jeans/shorts and flip flops. Please be prepared to share your favorite 'Brian' moment.

Brian is being cremated, and his family will be having a private ceremony at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to The Wounded Warriors Project in Brian's name. Please sign the guest book at www.dailybreeze.com/obits.

He loved his family and his friends very much. I have laughed, cried, argued, screamed and whispered with Brian Huddleston and wouldn't have traded a minute of these moments for anything in the world. He was a genuine friend and we loved him.
