Carol was born August 1st 1922 and passed away on June 15th at the young age of 94. Raised in San Pedro and a resident her whole life, Carol was well known as the secretary at Fierman's Sporting Goods and later at Harbor Office Supply. Carol was a member of the Wednesday Club and was always the epitome of fashion and class. Carol was loved by all. Carol is preceded in death by her only son Fred Miller, husbands John Skyko and Roy Pedersen, and 6 siblings. She is survived by daughter in law Karen Miller, step children Jeff (Marie) Pedersen, Donna (Bill) Moller, grandchildren Corey (Diane) Miller, Seth (Heather Miller), Kelli, Jeff, Paul, Mikey, Eric and David Pedersen, Ryan and Kerri Moller. She also had 9 great-grandchildren whom she loved very much especially Corie Paige and Sammy. A celebration of Carol's life will be held on Thursday June 22, at 11am at Top of the San Pedro Fish Market. Please sign the guestbook at mcnerneysmortuary.com or dailybreeze.com.

Carol will be remembered as a lovely person who was a bright spot in the lives of many. She was a dear friend and neighbor to my mother for many years, and I am sure Carol is enjoying her reunion with family and friends who have also passed. She lived a beautiful, long life and will be missed. Rest in peace, Carol. We send our sympathy to your family.
