David Gintz Obituary
David W. Gintz passed away unexpectedly on August 24, 2010 at his home in Riverside, CA. David was born in Oakridge, TN and was raised in Torrance, CA. He worked many years for Hughes Space & Communications which later became Boeing. He is survived by his wife, Jennifer; and four sons, from a previous marriage, Timothy, Christopher, Brian and Shawn. Also surviving is his mother, Millie Gintz; brother, Charles Gintz; and sister, Karen (David) Nelson of Portland, OR. His father, Philip Gintz predeceased him. The viewing will be held on Friday, August 27th at Green Hills in Palos Verdes from 6pm to 8pm. The funeral will be held at 1pm on Saturday, August 28th also at Green Hills. Anyone wishing to honor David may donate to their favorite charity. David was loved by so many and our hearts ache from the loss of him in our lives.

Thinking of you. Your son is such a wonderful young man. I am so proud of him and so grateful for you letting him come and be with us.
I am proud to call him my son. My husband and i love him so much. He is no different a son to us than the ones I gave birth to.

to tim, chris, brian, and shawn...i only got to meet ur dad once but i could tell he loved youguys. my prayers are with you all and i send peace and blessings to you all. i will always be here for all of u even tho i just met u chris time and brian. shawn u are like a son to me and i love you as much as my own (i know i always tell you). you are part of our family and always will be. blood doesnt always make family. lean on God and he will see u through!

I worked with Dave on and off for the past 27 years and found him to be a joy to work with, I am truly saddened by his passing. I feel for your loss and wish you all the very best.
