demetrius hatzeson Obituary
August 28, 1932 - June 18, 2018
Demetrius was born to Greek immigrant parents, Athos and Evangelia (Antoniou) Hatzeson in Los Angeles, CA. He graduated from St. Agnes High School in 1952 and LACC in 1955.
He worked at the UCLA Medical Center in Westwood, CA as a Pharmacy Technician for over 36 years. He never married but continued to live and care for his elderly parents whom he loved and cherished.
He leaves behind his brother and sister in law, Dr. Thomas and Betty (Vanikiotis) Hatzeson; nieces, Paras Hatzeson and Norrice (David) Zyskowski; grand niece, Rhea (Daniel) Greier and great grand niece, Nico Greier.
He was a devout member of the Roman Catholic Church and enjoyed traveling, following current events and encouraging his nieces to acquire a good education and follow a good career. He had many friends in the Catholic Alumni Clubs as well as Amatuer Radio Clubs.
His family will miss him and respect how he lived his life. True, Humble and Caring. May his memory be eternal.
Funeral service will be held at Holy Cross Mortuary and Cemetery on Monday, July 2, 2018 at 11:00am with burial to follow. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a favorite charity.

A FRIEND FOR OVER 60 YEARS----HE WAS A GREAT GUY---VERY KIND AND RELIGIOUS----TOOK EXCELLENT CADE OF HIS MOM WHEN SHE GOT OLD---THE LACAC WILL MISS HIM. WE WILL ALL MISS HIM VERY MUCH. GOD BLESS.

We pray at least 3x a day for the repose of Demeitrius' soul and during daily Mass and Holy Communion. We were TRULY privileged to attend his wake and funeral.
