Don Clounch Obituary
Don Benson Clounch passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home in Torrance on September 20, 2016. He was born to Ben and Leona Clounch on March 10, 1943. He was a lifetime resident of Torrance, CA and graduated from South High School in 1961. Shirley, his loving wife of 54 years and beloved daughter Dawn survives him. He retired on January 1, 2005 after 43 years of service to Western Airlines then Delta Airlines. Services will be held at Rice Mortuary on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 2:00 pm and reception to follow at Rice's Lighthouse Reception Room. I remember seeing Don sitting in the garage working on bird houses, alway with smile and ready to talk to everyone that came by. Some days I drive by hoping to see Don again.Take care Shirley I love you

Worked twenty years with Don, all with the old Western Airlines, he was a character and will be missed. Spent many hours with Don discussing the Stores department operation where we both worked and life issues in general.

I will miss seeing Don working on his bird houses and telling me stories about his family pictures in his garage. He told me how much he loved you and your lovely daughter. I will also miss his smile as mom and I drive by.
