Elijah Butler passed away Tuesday, June 27, 2006 in Reno, NV. Born in Crockett, TX on November 16, 1936 to Annie and Daryl Butler, Elijah moved to California in 1964 to work in carpentry at Pepperdine University and later at the Raytheon Co. from which he retired in 1997. In 2000, he relocated to Reno, he loved nature, the mountains, meadows and fishing in the Truckee River. Elijah is survived by his wife, Pricilla; his sister, Vera; and his children, Clement, Jill, Michael, Jerry, Tony, Valle and Jonathan; and grandchildren. All who knew him: especially his family, friends and his ever faithful bulldog Joe will forever miss him. No services are scheduled.
