Mr. Bender was a regular customer of mine at the former Longs Rolling Hills. He came in often and we had many good chats, such a nice man! My heartfelt condolences to the Bender family.

My condolences to all the Bender family. I have known George and Shirley since our Venice High School days. My husband and I have lived here on the peninsula since 1957 and would see Shirley and George while we were shopping. I have such fond memories of both of them. If services will be held in the future I would like to be informed. With warmest regards. Debby Lombard Power VHS '51

Thank you for letting us get to know George a bit better. We are friends with one of his daughters and she is truly a testimony to his and his wifes incredible parenting. May the peace of God surround the family during this difficult time.

I will miss George's smile and upbeat personality. He loved his family and visited my dad, his brother, often in his final days.
