My heart goes out to all of you. Losing someone that was so special is very hard, but we have wonderful memories of them that will be with us forever. I remember being 16 and Jes was my boyfriend ( My sister Cathy went out with Kenny) Back then he was a surfer with long hair and a beautiful smile. I haven't seen him in over 30 years, but I still have fond memories of our time together. He touched so many lives with his aloha. Jes we will miss you!

I am truly sorry to hear about J.T. - My condolences go out to his whole family. He will truly be missed.
I did get to see him last year at our Carson High School 30th class reunion, and will always remember that bright smile and what a good guy he was! My fondest memories are when we all put on the annual polynesian show at the San Pedro Ward Church Luau with Uncle George Nauahi's group... it used to be so much fun!
His mom, Aunty Vi and my mom (Aunty Bea Sham) were very good friends as I was growing up, and I can't help but think that J.T. is with Aunty Vi now, at peace and without pain.
