Dear Doris, I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. Staff members of Purche Ave School were remembering Jesse fondly today. I volunteer at Purche where my daughter teaches. Love, Margaret Conrad (from our days at Banneker School)

I worked at the post office with Jesse and we were also students together at LACC. He was always a gentleman and was respected by his peers. I offer my deepest condolences to his family.

Jesse Kendrick was one of the nicest people I knew that worked for LAUSD. My family respected his and Doris' spirit. My condolences to the family. This is one man that will truly be missed by all. Yes, and he was a quiet soul I know that the family will find comfort in days that come.
