John Mitsuo Hori

John Mitsuo Hori, born on February 8, 1931 in Honolulu, HI, passed away peacefully at home in Torrance, CA on April 19, 2018 at the age of 87. He is survived by the love of his life, Nancy Asako Hori whom he was married to for 67 years; daughters, Teri Lerch, Joni (Tom) Heideman, and Sharon (Dan) Spafford; grandchildren, Jonathan and Jennifer Lerch, Andrew, Daniel and Michael Heideman, and Samantha Spafford; sister, Mary (Stanley) Shimomura; he is also survived by nieces, nephews and extended family.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 11, 2 p.m. at Gardena Buddhist Church, 1517 W. 166th St. in Gardena.
