To the Clan: He was a very cool cat, an intellect, a seeker of higher knowledge, had an
infectious laugh, and loved dogs - may you all find peace.

Grandpa, I was so looking forward to more conversations with you, More questions, more lessons, more chances to cook for you, I had plans. Maybe in Heaven, huh? I miss you, Grandpa, and I will always love you.

Though I'm not related,
I was proud to know this fine man who would always crack a smile when I called him Grandpa. That was his way of letting me know he liked me, and I treasured it. I consider it an honor to have had such a relationship with the patriarch of this flock that I consider my own.
Grandpa Joe loved his family very dearly, and this was easy to see despite his quiet nature. He refused to depend on others to a fault, and he made his sacrifices for loved ones his own private matter, usually hiding from or avoiding any recognition. I looked up to him for that as a man of real character.
I miss you Grandpa, and will continue to do so indefinitely and to reflect on the times I got to spend with you.
May you rest in peace,
Joyce Jarrett

Oh Daddy-O, I miss you so much! I'm still in shock and disbelief that you are gone. The reality still hasn't sunk in. I am going to miss our talks & time together. I have learned so much from you over the years. You were a great teacher and loving dad. Thank you for all you have given me and though you have left us for now, your love will remain etched in my heart. May you rest in peace! XOXO
