Lovoy, Margaret Ann
Margaret Ann Lovoy went peacefully to the Lord on Sunday, December 9, 2007. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she was "Mom" to all. Born June 22, 1927 in Memphis, Tennessee to Jessie Barron Boyd, Mom was raised in Alabama and married Angelo Lovoy in 1947. Margaret and Angelo moved to Southern California in 1951 and to San Pedro in 1963 where they lovingly raised their six children. Two of the children, Joseph Steven, the eldest and Jane Ann, the youngest were called to return to the Lord before Mom. Mom is survived by her husband, Angelo; her children, Angela (Peter) Fiamengo, Louis Paul, Tim (Jennifer) and Tony (Tina); her grandchildren, Amy (Scott) Paulsen, Jane (Joe) Gualeni and Jennifer Fiamengo (Tim Woo), John and Ellen Lovoy; great-grandchildren, Tannis, Paige Margaret and Eric Paulsen, Joey and Matty Gualeni. Visitation will be today, Thursday, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at McNerney's Mortuary. A funeral mass will be offered 10 a.m tomorrow, Friday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. With interment to follow at Green Hills Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, Mom would have wanted contributions to be made in her memory to the Better Breathers Club, Little Company of Mary Hospital, 1300 W. 7th St., San Pedro, CA 90731. Dearest Angela and Family,
When I think of your mom, I always smile. She made my girls their first quilts when they were babies that we will always cherish. She always made Larry & I feel welcome & feel a part of your whole family. Although we havent been able to spend time together as of late, always know that we love you all very much. We are so sorry for your loss & you are in our prayers.
Much Love, Larry & Shari Famighetti

Lovoy family,
I'm so sorry to hear about your mom's passing. I grew up across the street (on Summerland) from your family. I hadn't seen your mother for some years, but I would think of her from time to time, wondering how she was. She was a very sweet lady. I will keep all of you in my prayers.

Dear Angie and Family
Our deepest sympathy to you all. We will miss seeing Margaret in the office. In spite of all she went through, she was always smiling and it was always a pleasure visiting with her. She is with the Lord now and at peace. Our thoughts are with you and we hope you find comfort in family and friends who loved her. We will never forget her. She was truly a wonderful woman.
