I remember Mr. Bettke as my soccer coach (the Tidal Waves!) back in the 70's, who believed in me and helped me get my start as an athlete. He was a thoughtful coach who taught me about strategy and toughness but also made sure we had fun. He has a special place in my heart. My condolences to his family.
