My favorite memories with my dad were going to the lake, restoring the boat, working on his Harley and even trips to the hard ware store were fun as long as I was with him. Every summer he built an above ground pool in the backyard for us kids and always started summer off by doing a cannon ball into the pool. He played old records and danced with us for hours. We would listen to oldies and try and decide which one we would play at my wedding. He took me go karting or bowling almost every weekend. He loved spending time with us. I can never explain how much I appreciate all those memories with him and how great he made my life. I will always be your tweety bird. Happy birthday dad.

Daddy,
I know your're with God and grandpa now in heaven looking down on us and guiding us. Even though you can't physically be with us anymore, your spirit will ALWAYS be with us. We had an unbelievable bond that I will always cherish. I'll always try to make you proud.

I can't wait till I get to be with you forever in heaven and just being able to hug you again. I know that some people's hearts have changed after all of this and I pray that all those people who don't already know God will turn to Him so we'll all be together again some day.

I love you Dad.

Remembering my little brother Phil who was really like a big brother to me. Who always watched over me. If you knew him or he ever crossed your path you would know how caring, talented, loving and giving he was. I was blessed to have him in my life. He is in God's hands now with my Dad. You are at peace little brother. I will miss your laugh and funny faces. Your spirit, I see in your kids. It will live on in them. Forever free.

Love, your sister,

Phil - The world will be a little darker place now that your light is gone from it. However, I know in my heart of hearts that Heaven will be a brighter place now that you are there.

See you on the other side my Brother in Spirit.

God's Blessings and mercy to your dear family.

Phil,
44, you'll be remembered in so many ways!! A great football player, yeah, one of the strongest most well liked guy in high school, yeah!! But what impressed me the most, was that you were never in meaningless arguments or senseless fights as so many do in high school.. I think that showed your true character as a gentleman. You will be truly missed my friend. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Phil
Your old house is occupied by someone else but I can still see you and Nick sitting out on the front porch - smiling and saying a kind word. For 15 years, you were a role model for both me and my children that there really were some wonderful, humble, kind men and dedicated fathers in the world. Only 47 years old, you still had so much more to give to us. You are truely missed and loved by all.

I will always remember you.
Cathleen.

Phil has shown us time is not infinite. It is to be treasured not used. He was a man among men not to be able to share days in his life is my personal loss. Through his actions and associations,
he has helped me to be...less selfish, more giving, bigger than my problems, smaller than my friends, more of a brother, less of a mother, faster to smile, slower to judge but most of all I have learned to ask for help.
I would like to share with his family, the most valuable attribute I found in Phillip Peter Rossy, was his friendship. He gave me that gift and I will pass it on hoping never to miss the opportunity to share this most irreplaceable asset. I benefited from Phil's presence, and am less without him on this planet. I got to thank Phil for a lot of things he did for me but, he was called to God, before I could say thank you for your friendship. I love you brother.

I ride through the cold,
I cry though the pain,
I miss his mortal soul,
and to shake his hand again.
I pray he now is home,
and in Gods loving care
You live your life complete
and see him in the air.
Phil helped the world and left.
The many parts of it,
his life with us is gone,
but we all benefit.
So weep, for it is time
but smile through the tears,
it's a better place he's in
for this there is no fear.

We will remember you Phil.

Phil,
Thank you for always coming over to the house and doing the handy work or getting rid of weird animals in the crawl space. As your neighbor and friend, you and your family have always been there for us... you were one of a kind

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man."

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

I only knew Phil for a couple of years but there are so many I've known much longer and not as well. Some people have smiles that reach thier eyes, Phils' smile started in his eyes. He was genuine and humble and made you glad he was there. I know I will continue to expect to see him for a long time to come. God Bless you Phil. You have left behind a piece of you in all of us.

Phil was the best friends I ever had. He took the time to learn what made me tick as I did with him. There will be an emptiness inside me for the rest of my life. He was the most vivacious and caring person who would give the shirt off his back to whom ever needed it. We have lost one of God's most magnificent creatures. I hope to see him again someday. God Bless You Phil and I hope you finally found peace.

Every time I think of my Uncle Phil I see his smiling face, and remember how much he loves his whole family. When I was little Phil & his friends were always rescuing me from my brothers bullying. I feel like God has rescued Phil, and know he is with his Dad healing. I will always remember & LOVE him deeply, his heart is truly big enough for all of us to share.

This was my beautiful baby brother. I know he is in a better place and is now with God and our Dad. I will miss his smiling face so much and will always carry his love in my heart. I know he now has the peace he so urgently needed. Please take the time to hug and tell your loves ones how much they mean to you and that you love them. You never know when it will be your last chance. Take the time to dance, Phil did.
