Richard, you were a great partner to work with during the times we did at Rockwell and as a friend. So glad I was able to facebook with you when we did. May you rest in place and you'll never be forgotten.

Although I didn't know your dad, I know you had a close relationship with him. He was a great man and contributed so much to this country and departed from this world way too soon. I am so sorry for this incredible loss to your family. May God bless you and your family during this time and always.

As teenagers, Dick was one of my older brother Bob's best friends. I knew who he was, but didn't really know him!
A few years ago, Dick visited the building where I gather with some of the believers, who God calls "His Church", to study God's Word. The building in which we get together is Sovereign Grace Chapel in Auburn, ME. After the service was over, I introduced myself (using my married name) and Dick said he was visiting here from CA. He told me that he grew up in Auburn and was hoping to locate a few old friends. To see if I could help Dick, I asked him to give me a few of their names. The first name he gave me was my brother Bob's. He was so shocked and also very happy! Dick did remember me as Bob's sister Linda, but never would have recognized me,(age does that)!
I asked Dick how he chose to visit us at Sovereign Grace Chapel and he said he found us on the Internet. If anyone knows Scripture, they will know that it was God Who sent Dick to our gathering (am sure for many wonderful reasons, one of which, was locating Bob.)
Bob and Dick were able to get together and keep in touch. I too, kept in touch with Dick on e-mail and then on Face Book. Around December or January, Bob told Dick I had learned I had cancer and was nervous about starting chemo. So, Dick called me on the phone and gave me real encouragement about the procedures, etc. He also took the time to tell me about his juicing veggies and fruits, and how much better he was feeling. I followed his suggestions and I thank God for using Rick in this wonderful way in my life!
My prayer is for Dick's family, that they will have God's peace and know that Dick had a faith which believed that Jesus Christ said, "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life and that no man comes unto the Father but by Me."
John 14:6
All those who believe in Jesus Christ as their Savior, will one day rise with Dick and me in that Great Resurrection Day when Jesus Christ reappears to Planet Earth.
