Richard Estrada Obituary
Richard "Woody" Estrada, the son of Jesus and Dolores Estrada, passed away on November 21, 2013 at the age of 64. He was born on August 27, 1949 in Long Beach, California and had been a long time resident of Carson. Woody is survived by his beloved wife, Virginia; step-children, Nick and Jodie; grandchildren, Honor, Stone and Jet and siblings, Mary, Vera and Lois. He is preceded in death by 3 brothers and 2 sisters. A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 6, 2013 at 11am at Green Hills Memorial Chapel in Rancho Palos Verdes, California. Woody,
I am saddened by your passing, at one time we had been so close, but as the years went by, people lose touch. I will remember your sense of humor, your beautiful tattoos (How many tattoo parlors I went to with you as you were getting started on your masterpieces), your wonderful photography (I will treasure my Poncho Sanchez, and John Lee Hooker photos), but most of all your smile. When you smiled, it lit up a room. I will forever treasure the beautiful jewelry you made. I just lost my own Mother less than 6 months ago, so I hope and pray that you are now at peace, and did not suffer too much. You will always have a special place in my heart, as well as being a part of my family (Elsa was my Aunt).
