Hope and Rudy, loosing a parent is so hard, there will be days that are harder than others, but it will get easier with time. You were there for him as you are for your mom and that makes you special. Taking care of our parents is a job in itself. Keep him in your heart and he will always be with you and crying is okay, it just mean that you are thinking of them. luv you,
Gloria Marquez

Dear Hope, Rudy, and the entire Mendoza Family,
Barbara and I want to offer our deepest sympathies at this time. Ruben was clearly a wonderful father and his children show that every day. I will never forget Ruben's friendship and hospitality during the Banning football trip to Hawaii. We shared some good times on those island courses over those days. He even managed to obtain a resident rate at Pearl City Golf Course by convincing them that he was Hawaiian. Quite a fellow; he will be missed.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Mendoza family. Ruben was a very good neighbor and we enjoyed listening to his stories. My favorite was that he actually poured cement at Dodger Stadium. Thank you Ruben.

Dear Nettie, Ruben,Sister & Rudy,
It is very difficult to find the perfect words to say during these times of such deep saddness. I believe what helps us survive the grief is to remember all the wonderful memories our loved ones leave behind. I am so very blessed to have had all of you for 53 years as neighbors. Ruben was a wonderful man!! We will remember his gestures and his beautiful smile forever!!
We love you,
Mellie, Javi, Joseph and Chris
