Sandy Cornett Obituary
Was born April 10, 1960 to Richard & Jackie Priddy in Culver City, CA. She died on July 17, 2016. Sandy met her soul mate, Dale at age 15 and they married on August 25, 1979. They were blessed with more than 40 years in their True Love Story. There are a few things we know about Sandy; her love for her Lord Jesus Christ; her deep and mushy love for Dale; the pride & joy she had at being a mother, mamaw, and surrogate mother to many; her unwavering love for her family and friends; her love of all things pink, and those oh-so-many Hawaiian Dresses. One of Sandy's greatest gifts was encouraging people with the written word. She worked for many years at Cornett Plumbing & Heating and was an integral part of Carson Hope Community Church in her many roles as church administrator, women's ministry, etc. …as the pastors would say, "She ran the place".
Sandy leaves behind her loving husband Dale; son, Wayne (Krista) their sons, Ezekiel & Levi; daughter, Sarina (Gabriel) their children, Stephanie, Mario, Noah, Junior, Jonny, Sandra & Gracie; sisters, cousins, many nieces and nephews, and an abundance of family & friends. Though she has left us physically, every life she touched will have loving memories that will last a lifetime and beyond.
"Celebrate Sandy" will be held Saturday, July 30, 2016, 11:00am to 1:00pm at Mission Ebenezer Family Church, 425-D West Torrance Blvd, Carson, CA 90745. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Sandy's memory to Women's Ministry, Carson Hope Community Church, 129 E. 223rd Street, Carson, CA 90745. I remember Sandy as a beautiful woman of God, always having a word of wise advise or an encouraging word. She was funny, loved to have a good time, loved her family fiercely. My thoughts and prayers are with Dale and her whole family - I am so shocked she is not with us on this earth any longer. I am comforted to know that I will see her again in glory....

I'm sorry to miss her service .. I know it will be a great celebration .. Sandy, Aleyda and I were High School friends . We lost touch after High school but Aleyda and I found each other on FB and tried to plan a reunion . Our schedules were too crazy and it didn't happen Fortunately I too am a believer and we shall meet again . I'm sorry for the family's loss as I know she was so loved . Rest in Jesus arms my sweet friend .

Sandy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and Christian. She is warmly welcomed into the kingdom of God though her physical presence will be greatly missed by her loved ones. God's speedy Sandy!

Sandy was such an amazing woman! She will be missed so much. ii have so many memories of her and I at the church office having lots of talks and just enjoying each other. She was always so supportive. So many people don't know exactly how amazing she really was!! I personally will miss her so much! The only hope I have is that I will meet her again in Heaven. I'm so sorry to Dale, Krista, Wayne, Sarina, Cheri, Juanita and the rest of the family. I can't even imagine the pain you are going through right now. I'm praying for you guys and love you all!!

If there is a personification of Love, then Sandy was a wonderful expression of an earthly manifestation of how God shows his love. She was the best example of giving, hospitality, friendship, family, and loving! She blessed me and she blessed my family with her unapologetic overwhelming gift of loving and giving! She is loved by so many in return and we will miss her earthly vessel, but rejoice that we have her intercession in heaven! Heaven is happy to have her on board!!

I did not have the privilege of knowing Sandy. But I do know Cheri. In listening to Cheri speak of her sister, I could feel and hear the love, happiness, joy and friendship that she felt. Those three sisters shared a sisterhood in it's truest sense. It makes me understand the profound loss the family is feeling. Sandy had her hand around everyone's heart and they are all the better for it. Please accept my condolences.

I am so sad I have known Sandy my entire life she was more like an older sister than just a friend. I can not think of my family without thinking of yours. My heart breaks for my loss but I rejoice for heavens gain. You are with your parents and I know that is a joyful reunion. I will always love you, and miss you forever.

I cannot express in words how sad we are at losing our sister Sandra Cornett. She wasn't just my big sister, she was my best friend. I was lucky enough to be her sister. I had a birds eye view to all the wonderful and beautiful things she did in her way too short life. She set the bar very high for Juanita and I and I only hope we continue to make her proud. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all. She had a kind and loving soul and she never hesitated to share her love with everyone she met. I miss you my beautiful sister and I will see you again.
