Dr. Taniguchi was my dentist from the mid '70s to the '90s. (when I moved out of state). I had a mouthful of problems and I'll never forget the various contraptions he had to place to correct them. I loved him, and will never forget him. He was wonderful!

Dr. Taniguchi was our family's dentist (Coyne) for over 35 years, and he will truly be missed. He was all of our (James, Lily, MaryBeth, Jimmy, and Susan) dentist and always took time out to ask how our lives were progressing. I know his dedicated staff (especially Karen) is feeling the loss. On behalf of the Coyne family, we would like to offer his wife and daughters our sincere condolences. He will be missed.

I am saddened to learn about the passing of Dr. Taniguchi. I had the pleasure of being one of his patients since the 70's. He was a great man and a terrific dentist, he will truly be missed. I once asked him when he planned on retiring, he said never, because it wouldn't be fair to his patients. My sincerest condolences to his wife, daughters, and family.

My family of four has known Terry since 1983, when he was highly recommended by a good friend. He took care of my entire family, and was funny, sincere, honest, and just a great all around man.

We pray for your family and friends.

Dr Taniguchi: Was more than my dentist he was a friend. Everytime I came in for an appointment we would always talked about the trips he has taken around the world. There was one time where I had a bad tooth ache and it was just when I was when was leaving for Europe. As usual he took care of it. He so concern that he would keep in touch with me to make sure i was okay. We ieven had our favorite resturant: Hong Kong resturant in Torrance.

My prayers are with Ms. Taniguchi and your family. I will always remember him not just a my dentest but a friend and his big smile. He is going to be missed.

I send my deepest condolences to Dr. T's family. Dr Taniguchi has been my dentist for the past 20 years; he was the first person who took the time to help me overcome my intense fear of dentistry. His gentleness, his humor, his wry observations have enriched my life and I will miss him more than I can express here.

Terry was not just my dentist for over half of my life, but a dear friend. He always had time to ask "how are you doing" and he sincerely meant it. I will miss my friend. To the Taniguchi Family, I wish to express my deepest condolences.

For the last 20 or so years, Terry and I have played racquetball regularly. His excellent sportsmanship, competitive spirit, and witty sense of humor made playing the game a truly enjoyable experience.

Outside the court, Terry's wealth of knowledge on so many subjects was always welcome and educational. He had such a positive outlook on life that was so inspiring. I feel very lucky to have had him as a good friend and I am definitely a better person as a result of knowing Terry.

I will miss him greatly, but never forget the fun and laughter we shared.

My wife Karen and I would like to express our deepest sympathy to all of you, the Taniguchi family. Words cannot show our sadness of his passing.

For the past 33 years, I always looked forward to my appointments. We shared common interests like home improvement and fishing. During my last dental procedure, Dr. Taniguchi, Betty and I had a discussion about ingredients that goes into making poki. And during every visit, we always talked about his and my family.

We will miss our dentist and friend.

Such a shock to read that our kind and thoughtful Dr.Taniguchi has passed away. He always had an interest in our whole family. My three sons never minded visiting him, plus he gave them toys when they were small! He also treated my late husband Bob and later Jacobus from the Netherlands. We will miss him.

Our condolences to the family,

My mother, Rhea Neville, was Dr. Taniguchi's patient soon after he began his practice until now. (I was his patient when I was in grade school. In fact, I still have one of the fillings he put in and I'm 55). We both remember him as a kind and caring dentist who will be surely missed by everyone whose lives he touched. God bless him and the Taniguchi family.

Terry, you were a friend and a mentor. Skiing with you at our WPOS meeting was always a highlight of my year. When my twins were born I took your advice and took an extra day off from work to spend more time watching them grow up. You continue to touch my life.

I had only met Terry twice, but somehow I found it easy to admire him. Over the years Karen, and later her husband, Karl, would share stories of their happy experiences him, which would then reinforce my impression of him as being one who was wise, close to his children and would always do the right thing. I am grateful to have met him, and am deeply sorry for his passing.
