Vincenzo Cristiano Obituary
Even up until the end, he was there almost every day, always talking to customers about his travels or his birthplace in Naples, Italy. He worked alongside his wife and three children, yet never gave up the throne at his restaurant, the circa-1958 Nino's Italian Restaurant in Bixby Knolls.
Vincenzo Cristiano died Tuesday surrounded by family and friends, including some of the longtime employees from Nino's. He was 90.

Dr. Kuntz was Nino's teacher and knew the family quite well. We've been away quite a few years now but Nino's Restaurant and the Cristiano family hold a special place in our hearts. Our condolences to the family. You will be in our prayers!

I used to live just a few blocks from Nino's and would walk there every Friday night for dinner. I chatted with Mr. Cristiano on a few occasions. He ran a great resturaunt and was an engaging, delighful fellow. My condolences to the family.
