Dorothy Seward Obituary

Dorothy (Dinny) Seward, our beloved wife, mom, grandma, sister, and friend passed away on March 9, 2023. Dinny was the center of our family. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, John Seward, her sons and daughters-in-laws John and Donna Seward, Bill and Michelle Seward, and Tom and Vikki Seward, her four grandchildren Zoe, Olivia, Alex and Michael, and her brother and sister-in-law Bart (Tito) and Sandy Sproule. Dinny was born in Bisbee, Arizona and spent her younger years in Cananea, Mexico. She graduated from the University of Arizona and eventually moved to Boulder. Dinny and John were long-time residents of Pine Brook Hills in Boulder, CO and for many years Dinny was an active member of the Boulder tennis community. She loved making memories traveling with family and friends, riding her bike around Boulder and hiking. Cancun and Arizona were homes away from home. We will be celebrating Dinny's life later this spring. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the American Heart Association.

We will miss our dear Dinny in our bridge group. She was one of the sweetest people I ever knew - never had a negative word to say about anybody and easily shared her big smile. Bon voyage, Dinny!
