I'm writing to tell you all how profoundly sorry I am that I didn't hear of Andy's passing. After Jinny died, we lost track of him and for that I carry a heavy burden of regret.
We were founding members with your mom and dad of NECC for over 20 years. My husband, Paul, and I knew he and your mom prior to that through St. Andrew Presbyterian Church. He performed our son's wedding.
Our son, Soren, finally found this obituary just yesterday and we were saddened and yet strengthened by the words that were shared there. He was such a lover of peace and social justice. Along with the other members of NECC, we shared a mutual bank account for almost 15 years until it became a bit too confusing to manage. But still we were very vulnerable to one another for the trust it took to put our money together to enable us, as a group, to make significant donations to people and groups who were in need. Our monthly meetings were always a source of strength for us all in our collective and personal intentions to respond to this world with compassion, love, & equanimity.
Please accept our sympathies for the passing of your father.
We hope this finds you all well.

Andy was one of our volunteer chaplains at boulder community hospital, I always treasured our conversations when he came in. Rest in peace, dear Andy
