Lottie Webb Obituary

Lottie Lee Webb Hufford died peacefully in the home she loved in North Boulder on March 30, 2016. She was born on July 7, 1923 on Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts, the youngest of seven children. She married George Allen Hufford in Franklin Park, NJ, in 1954 and together they raised a family of three children. In 1964, she and her husband moved to Boulder where they lived together until his death in 2014. She survived two bouts of breast cancer, one in the 1970s and one around 2012. She finally succumbed to cancer. She is survived by her son, George and his wife, Susan; her son, Richard, his wife, Linda and their son, Richard Price; her daughter, Lottie Lee and her husband, David. Lottie was a role model in selflessness; a kind and generous person. She was nurturing of her children encouraging good manners and respect of others while letting each grow in their own way. She also mentored and cared for the children of many neighbors and relatives. She took her disabled sister into her home and cared for her for many years. We will miss her greatly. At her request, no memorial service is planned.
