I was so sad to hear today of Marianne's sudden passing. I met her 10 years ago when I began to work part-time for the Department of Fire Services. I was located in the fiscal office trailer seated not far from Marianne. She was a welcoming co-worker with a good sense of humor. I remember how important her family was to her. When I saw her briefly last year she spoke about planning for her retirement and how much she was looking forward to that part of her life. I am very sorry for the loss of Marianne.

May you rest in peace. I have not seen Marianne in many years. However, I went to grammar school with her and also high school at Doherty. We never realize when we are really young, the impact a person, whether younger or older, may have but I remember my school days quite fondly with Marianne being a part of them.
My deepest sympathy to the family.
