Joan and Steve Malliet

So sorry to learn that Nancy passed away. It has been many years since we have been together, but we are lucky to have a few pieces of Nancy's work. We were fortunate to receive a wedding piece and a handkerchief baby bonnet that she made for our daughter--which she carried in her wedding in 2013. It was always a treat to get together at a Marasch/Malliet gathering, filled with great food, stories and laughter and love. Those memories will always bring a smile to my face. Sending strength and love to Milton and all of the Marasch family. You all will cherish those memories and love of an amazing woman. If we each could possess just a tiny part of her talent, our lives would be much richer! Love and prayers to all.

She brought light to so many lives and was loved and cherished by all who knew her.

I met Nancy in 2008 when we were both post-op patients at Life Care Center of Longmont. We were roommates there for several weeks. She was most gracious and charming. Milt joined us there each evening for dinner and we'd have such a lovely time! They were so loving with each other, and our conversations were lively and interesting. Their stories of their life, careers, family and travels were enchanting! It felt like we were at a country club each evening instead of in the dining room of a rehab center. I treasure my memories of them, and will keep Milt and their children in my thoughts and prayers.
