Eleanor Thompson Obituary
Services for Eleanor Etling Thompson, 87, are set for 1 p.m. Wednesday at Corinth National Cemetery.
Visitation is Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Magnolia Funeral Home – EAST.
Mrs. Thompson died Saturday, June 25, 2022 in Spring Hill, Tenn.
Born July 28, 1934 in Plainfield, N.J., she was a homemaker and of the Christian faith.
Survivors are her daughters, Savannah E. (Bobby) Whitehurst and Tracy Thompson (Mark) Sneed; her grandchildren, Riley Thompson (Melissa) Reed, Hannah Reed (Todd) Sleeper, Rebekah K. Reed, and Sarah Whitehurst (Jared) Christian; her great-grandchildren, Lily Reed, Will Reed, Jackson Sleeper, Reed Sleeper, Hank Sleeper, Shelby Reed, Luke McDaniel, and Wyatt Christian; other relatives and a host of friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Gertrude C. Etling; her husband, Dr. Karl Thompson; and her sisters, Barbara Etling Bettis and Caroline G. Best.
