Mr Jesse was my beloved neighbor and my dearest friend. I enjoyed every moment we spent together over our best Dr Peppers. I'll miss him every day and he's in my heart & soul FOREVER..!! He showed such kindness and love to everyone he met. He never met a stranger. His quick wit trying to match my humor had us both laughing til we cried. Sitting on the porch listening to Memphis blues to Kool n the gang..He had some moves for sure. Starting in January we were thick as thieves and it was my absolute pleasure to assist him in his daily activities. Even as he became more frail I continued his care and cooked his favorite foods and desserts. Most the time what ever I brought him it'd be gone before I left. He was a bright light in my life & I'll continue to do what he and I discussed in his final moments in this life. I'll see you again my friend & I'll bring pie. I live you before, now and FOREVER. I will continue feeding his beloved hummingbirds in his loving name. Rest easy now my sweet Jesse, it's all in GOD'S hands now. What's been in the dark will come to light. I'll miss you as well as everyone you touched here at Tinin Terrace and beyond

Uncle Jesse was a great and hardworking man. He always made me and my family feel welcomed and at home. He didn't indulge himself in any concerns that was none of his business and was the perfect role model of what an uncle should be. This was devastating news to hear and I wish that his soul rest in peace. Uncle Jesse, you will be truly missed and thank you for all the wonderful memories that I hold dear. May God continue to bless everyone's lives that your wonderful spirit touched.
