Joyce Pratt, 87, of Corinth, passed away peacefully on August 25, 2025. She was born in Booneville on December 2, 1938 to the late Ollis Hale and Ruby Pearl Whitley Kitchens. Known for her gentle and loving spirit, Joyce touched the lives of all who knew her with grace, kindness, and love. She was proceeded in death by her husband, Pete Pratt, in 2011 and her son, Craig Pratt, in 1991. She was a faithful wife married to Pete for 52 years.

She is survived by her children, Michael Pratt (Kim) and Debra McCullough (Greg); her brothers, Donnie Kitchens (Vicki) and Junior Kitchens (the late Gloria); and her daughter in law, Nancy Pratt Ross (Terry). Her beloved grandchildren include Alan Pratt (Abby), Emily Ross, Britni McCullough Oppel (David), Landon McCullough, Addie Paige Pratt, Brooks Pratt, and Baylor Pratt. Joyce was also blessed with great-grandchildren, Stella Pratt, Molly Pratt, and Lucy Pratt, who brought her great joy in her later years.
Joyce loved to sew, especially for her family. She was a beautiful singer and a great cook. Her macaroni and cheese and fried okra were the hit of every family and church gathering she attended. Her legacy of love, kindness, and faith will live on in those who knew and cherished her.
