Kalin Burcham Obituary
With heavy hearts, the family of Kalin Burcham, age 41 of Corinth, announces his departure of this earthly life on April 15, 2025. Kalin was born on November 10, 1983.
Kalin was a devoted father, husband, and friend to many over the course of his life. He enjoyed cooking, music, baseball of all kinds, most especially coaching and watching his beloved son Maddox. He was known for his outstanding culinary skills, his incredible sense of humor, his competitive nature and his extensive knowledge of trivia facts. He loved a Sunday afternoon ride with his family and friends. Kalin was a warm and inviting soul, who never met a stranger. He was at his happiest when in the presence of those he held dear, especially his wife and son.
A private memorial service is planned with the Rev. Waring Porter and Gregg Parker officiating. The family will receive friends to celebrate Kalin's life on Saturday April 19, 2025 at 4 p.m. at Cafe' Mike's in Corinth.
Kalin is survived by his wife, Jacy Taylor Burcham; his son, Maddox Franks Burcham; his parents, Terri and Marty Austin, Ricky and Wanda Burcham; his mother-in-law, Sheila Taylor Russell (Jimmy); his grandfather, Floyd Austin; his grandmother, Colelean Barton; his brothers, Brendan Burcham (Josalyn), Jeremy Bragg (Hannah); sisters, Sierra Burcham (Kailee), Stephanie Mercer (Phillip), Ashley Irvin (Mike), and brother-in-law, Sam Taylor (Jessica) as well as a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Christine and Wallace Burcham; grandfather, Leon Barton; grandmother, Judy Austin and father-in-law, Don Taylor.
Honorary Pallbearers will be members of the Corinth Middle School baseball team, Crossroads Cubs, Mikey Guare, Bo Butler, Rollin Fair, Adam Holcombe, Grant Roberts, Tracy Inman, Gil Green, Lee Tucker and Josh Newsom.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Kalin's honor can be made to corinth-Alcorn Animal Shelter via PayPal @[email protected] or Venmo @Corinthalcorn animalshelter.
Arrangements are under the care of Memorial Funeral Home.
