POTTS CAMP – A Celebration of Life Service for Lonnie Ash, 71, is 11 a.m. Saturday at Faith Baptist Church, 6300 Highway 173, Hickory Flat.
Visitation is Saturday until service time.
Mr. Ash died Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at Alliance Healthcare Systems in Holly Springs. Born on June 19, 1950, in Marshall County, he was the son of the late Guy and Maggie Roach Ash. He was married to Barbara Russell Ash and was a logger by trade. He attended Faith Baptist Church in Hickory Flat.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Alene Ash; sons, Lonnie Ash (Rebecca) and Jack Smith (Tabby); daughters, Kathy Smith (April Ford), Donna Holms and Sandra Skelton; a sister, Sue Bolden; brothers, Ricky Ash, Danny Ash, Mickey Ash, Henry Ash and Jackie Ash; 19 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Bonnie Ash and Viola Swinford; brother, Gene Ash; and a grandchild, Amanda Walker.
Bro. Tom Wilder and Bro. Chris Autry will officiate.
Corinthian Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
