SELMER, Tenn. - Richard J. Poindexter, 66, died Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2021, at Magnolia Regional Health Center. No services are scheduled.
Born in McNairy County on Oct. 29, 1955, he attended McNairy County High School and was a self-employed roofer.
Survivors are his sons, Chase Poindexter (Felecia) and Jeremy Poindexter (Jessica); a daughter, Shellie King; a brother, Reggie Poindexter; a sister, Diane Wooten (Gilbert); and his grandchildren, Alan, Monty, Garrett, Carleigh, Isabelle and Lillian.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roland and Liza Poindexter; a brother, Jerry Poindexter; and a sister, Joan Hawkins.
Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
