Mary "Susie" Voyles, 74, of Corinth, went to rest in her eternal home on August 27, 2025 at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth, of a broken heart.
She was born January 3, 1951, and was a proud graduate of Kossuth High School in 1969, then attended Blue Mountain College. Throughout her life, Susie worked in several roles where her warm heart and caring nature touched countless lives. She served at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Booneville, Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth, and most belovedly at McPeters Funeral Directors and Memorial Funeral Home, where her compassion and kindness brought comfort to many families in their time of need.
On December 11, 1970, Susie married the love of her life, Lane Voyles. Her rock and constant companion, she stood faithfully by his side throughout his Assemblies of God ministry. Their marriage was a true partnership of love, service, and faith. Since Lane's passing, Susie longed to be with him again, and now they are joyfully reunited. Susie was happiest when she was with her family – cheering on her children and grandchildren, keeping holiday traditions, and making everyone feel welcome at her table. She cherished her community and was known for her friendliness, reliability, and deep love for those around her.
She is survived by her children, Brandon Heath (Amanda) Voyles, Hannah (Bradley) Voyles, and Shannon Voyles, all of Corinth; her siblings, Lindy Milligan, Buddy Gray, and Rhonda Austin; her beloved grandchildren, Dr. Abigail (Landon) Dockery, Chaney Voyles, Jade Jones, Jordan Jones, River Walker, and Bentley Huffman; and her great-grandchildren, Asher, Grayson, and Evalyn.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Lane Voyles; her children, Adam Voyles and Jinny Voyles; her mother, Nona Gray; and her sister, Nancy.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2025, from 10 a.m. until noon at McPeters Funeral Directors in Corinth. A graveside service will follow at Brigman Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with Bro. Darren Howell officiating.
