Tom has been in my life since I was about 12 living two houses down from them in Long Beach Mississippi. They were best friends with my parents and my brother and I were best friends with Rusty and Linda. Very special memories from that time. We always stayed in touch and he was much more than a friend to me. We really reconnected just before he and Pat got married and watched that relationship grow. They made some wonderful memories together for as long as they could. Tom was such a happy people person who could really tell great stories about his life and travels. My husband Roger and I enjoyed many visits with he and Pat both at our home in Florida and our many trips to Georgia. He will be missed very much and Im so grateful he is at peace. We are very grateful we spent time with he and Pat recently. RIP Tom. We love you

My deepest condolences to Pat and the family. A real treasure of a gentleman has passed. My father, Steve Liackos, and Tom were inseparable when they lived at Arbor Terrace. They would sit and talk for hours - reminiscing about the old days and quizzing each other on which artist sang which song. They both loved Sinatra, Fitzgerald, Ellington, etc. My dad would always tell me how impressed he was with Tom´s stories of his life and travels.
My dad passed away a year ago today, and it brings me some comfort to think that he greeted his dear friend, Tom, with a warm hug and some music trivia.
After my dad passed away last year, I stayed with my mom, Angie, off and on for a few weeks. I would look forward to the early morning long talks I had with Tom over coffee in the lobby. He spoke proudly of his whole family, and was very content with the life that he had led. He not only visited my dad on his death bed with warm words of friendship and encouragement, but he also helped me through a very hard time after my dad died. I only wish I could have visited him in Gainesville. God bless him and may God watch over Pat and Tom´s family.
