Brandon Christopher Peterson, 18, of Scottdale, (Upper Tyrone Township), became an angel Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2020, as he was taken from earth unexpectedly. Brandon was born Dec. 26, 2001, in Mt. Pleasant, a son of Brook P. and Sheila K. (Warrick) Peterson.
Brandon was a devoted son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend. He graduated from Southmoreland High School, Class of 2020, where he participated in the basketball, wrestling, and football programs. Brandon loved life and he lit up every room he was in. Brandon had many loves in his life, of those his love for his family was the greatest. Brandon cherished every relationship he made. If you had the pleasure of knowing him you knew how much he cared. Brandon loved nature, every aspect of the wilderness. He was employed as a pipeline worker with Primoris Distribution Services. Brandon previously worked at United Parcel Service and at Wendy's restaurant. He took pleasure in hunting, most recently harvesting an eight-point whitetail buck. Brandon had many friends that he would give the world to. He was selfless, always putting others first. Brandon had a heart of gold and if you were fortunate enough to have known Brandon, you will never forget him!
Brandon will be sadly and forever missed by his loving parents, Brook and Sheila (Warrick) Peterson; his brother and sister, Brook and Kaitlyn Peterson; his paternal grandparents, William and Nancy (Slater) Peterson of Reagantown; his maternal grandmother, Marjorie (Koshara) Warrick of Mill Run; his aunts and uncles, Ronnie Koshara, Todd Koshara and wife Lisa, Melvin Warrick and wife Jordan, Kenneth "Wes" Patton and wife Jeanine, Angela Smouse and husband George, Michael Patton and wife Betty, Joseph Patton and wife Sandy, Billie Mauler and husband James, Jason Patton and wife Kelly, Benjamin Patton and wife Michelle, and Daniel Peterson and wife Buffy; and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Kenneth and Ruth Ann (Hodge) Patton; and his maternal grandfather, Melvin Warrick Sr.
Personalized arrangements are under the professional supervision of the ROBERT B. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, 105 SPRING ST., SCOTTDALE, (724-887- 5300). What an amazing young man. As a parent from another school Brandon was a very polite young man, very respectful, and a good sport. Any time our team played Southmoreland Brandon always stood out not just for his play but for his sportsmanship. What a truly amazing young man. He will be greatly missed
