Helen M. Guest, 86, of Dawson, passed away Saturday, April 8, 2017, in Excela Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg.
She was born Dec. 27, 1930, in Dawson, a daughter of the late Frank and Dorothy (Dull) Hough.
Helen was a loving homemaker, caring for her family. She enjoyed many hobbies and was an active member and volunteer in the Tyrone Presbyterian Church, Dawson. She was also a member of the Brownfield Community Center and a graduate of Scottdale High School, Class of 1948.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney "Sid" Guest; three brothers, Richard, Ralph and Donald Hough; and a sister, Margaret Galley.
She is survived by her children: Son, Sidney R. Guest and wife Coleen; son, Bradley Guest and wife Lisa; daughter, Terry Kupets and husband Richard; and daughter, Carrie Lerner; six grandchildren, Ashley Guest, Sidney Travis Guest, Kelsey Guest, Jonathan Guest, Hannah Kupets and Laura Kupets; brother, Robert Hough and wife Marlene; sister, Rebecca Cottom and husband Henry; sister, Gertrude Miner; sister-in-law, Mary Hough; and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for Helen's memorial service at 2 p.m. Saturday in Tyrone Presbyterian Church, 402 Jimtown Road, Dawson. The Rev. Robert Prinkey will officiate.
The family will greet friends at a reception immediately following the service in the church social room.
Private inurnment will take place in Green Ridge Memorial Park, Pennsville.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Tyrone Presbyterian Church or a charity of one's choice.
Arrangements for Helen are in the care of Graft-Jacquillard Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 303 Pittsburgh St., Scottdale.

Our deepest condolences to the family. When I think of Tyrone Church you can't help but think of Helen. She was always there and involved. A great Lady!!
