John Bierer Obituary

John W. Bierer, 64, of Scottdale, died Friday, September 29, 2016, in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital. He was born August 28, 1952, in Connellsville, a son of the late Blair Bruce and Emma C. "Pat" Bauman Bierer.

John had worked as a tree trimmer.

He is survived by two children, John W. Bierer, Jr. of Connellsville and Rana Bierer Means of Connellsville; two grandchildren, Ryan and Dillon Means; his siblings, Dixie Lynch and her husband John of Frederick, MD., Connie

Chesnik and her husband Ronald of Walkersville, Md., Sally Hixson and her husband Jerry of Howard, Co., Bruce Bierer of Connellsville, Jeffrey Bierer and his wife Rhonda of Connellsville and Deardra Brown of Frederick, MD.

As per the wishes of the family there will no public viewing or services. All arrangements are under the direction of the BROOKS FUNERAL HOME INC., 111 E. Green St., Connellsville.
